November 10 2007 Gathering

Hello all! Four of us once again got together at Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. We missed you all and really hope you will be able to join us the next time we can get together. Don't be afraid if you are visiting in the area to call or email one of us so those available can get together again. You will note that this picture is surely fuzzy. That could be because the man who took if for us was something of a dork or it could be because we wanted it that way to cover our wrinkles. Take your pick! Had a good time talking about the past and present, talked about you since you were not here to defend yourself and shared about our current lives. We are all incredibly interesting, so you missed a lot. Gail is a grandmother, grandchildren are beautiful. Steph's youngest is almost ready to graduate from college and she and Ron are ready to party! Sue's enjoying Bob, no that's, Sue and Bob are enjoying the empty nest and filling their free time with golf and mountain biking. Fritze is STILL single, but is quite happy about it, finally. She's an old maid librarian with two cats, you should be shaking your head right now and LOL, and loves to sing and enjoy an occasional G &T. We shared pictures and stories. Nex time we're going to bring pictures from our ASA days. Food was good, company was better.

Hello Everyone!

Stephanie, Helen, Fritze and Gail at Country Cupboard, August 19, 2007. Wish you had been there.

Welcome to a blog for the ASA alums of Mansfield University from 1974 to 1977 although if you happen to have graduated before or after that and you remember us or want to reconnect, please join us.

Stephanie, Gail, Helen and Barb gathered at Country Cupboard at 3:00 for a meal and had a great time reconnecting. We laughed, told old stories, and brought everyone up to speed on our lives in the last 30 or so years. The stories were flying right and left and the only thing that would have made it better would have been even more friends with us.

I had to laugh as we all got up to leave. Three out of four of us have achy knees and had to unbend ourselves before we could walk. We'll probably all be talking about medicines at the next gathering.

We'd like to get together again in October or November. We want to stay away from a Penn State home game weekend. So the following weekends are good:

October 20 or 21, 2007
November 10 & 11, 2007
November 17 & 18, 2007

After those dates I think we are getting too close to Christmas.
